NeXT revolutionized human to human communications and interpersonal computing, transforming the internet into an indispensable tool for doing online business. NeXT was one of the most powerful computers of its generation, featuring a revolutionary operating system NeXTSTEP. Steve sold NeXT to Apple in 1997. The subsequent Macintosh version of NeXTSTEP was called Darwin which is the core of Mac OS X and iOS.
A combination between vision and creativity culminating in the aquisition of the software division of Lucas film in 1986 naming the company Pixar. Now 3D animation begins to be taken seriously by the feature film industry due to the incredible hard work by Pixar which results in the first full length feature ’Toy Story‘’ in 1996 all thanks to the driving spirit that was Steve Jobs.
